shit i want to buy

My Pinterest: Reece’s wish list

Trying to grow and get use to these social networks is a task in itself.  It takes a certain kind of dedication and a willingness to open your thoughts to everyone on the internet.  With that being said if you don’t mess with Pinterest you probably should.  It’s an easy way to compile all the cool gear you see online in one spot to come back to, give to family members for Christmas wish lists, and a place to go back to for references of what you need to personally purchase.  Here is my list of random shit I need in my life.

Footwear

Being a huge fan of Palladium Boots and how they are developing their brand,  it’s only fitting that I start with the Pampa H,  an extremely affordable boot that can be worn in just about any casual setting and sure to get tons of compliments where ever you are kicking it at.

Leon Leonwood Bean couldn’t have made a better boot for the outdoorsman or just for someone dealing with a Louisville winter.  The LL Bean 8″ Thinsulate provides a water proof upper with a rubber bottom boot, and to top it off a Thinsulate insulate to keep those feet warm in the snowy months.

As you continue to scroll down you may get confused on why these are on my list.  I have never been an Emmitt Smith fan, and have a natural hatred of the Cowboys but with the initial retro of Reebok E22 I can’t deny the execution of the slightly updated colorway which includes that oh so buttery peanut butter outsole.

Rancourt & Co Ranger Mocasin.  A little rich for my blood but this hand stitched mocasin is perfect for my causal male style.  Working in a business causal atmosphere does not mean you can’t work in style and this shoe is a prime example of what every young gentleman needs to have in the closet.

The crazy thing about this Retro One is that I should currently own these.  When I worked at The Finishline, they went on sale for the low.  When i say low, I mean 49.99 low.  One of my favorite colorways in any Jordan; this is a must have in my last days of collecting.

Outerwear

A peice that I would love to have but will never have, at least right now at my current pay grade,  the White Mountaineering Cotton Cloth Luggage Down Vest is perfect for those city excursions.  Being able to store your essentials in this technological age is a huge priority for most men and this vest lives up to that with several storage pockets suitable for anything from an iPhone 5 to a Galaxy Note II.

Unfortunately, I do not own a peacoat but when I saw this UNIONMADE X San Francisco Golden Bear Double breasted pea coat I knew it was something I had to pin.  Handmade and Scottish Harris Tweed…can’t go wrong!

Accesories

With the mess occurring in the Middle East I felt it only fitting to show my support for world peace with a good wood braclet expressing Making Love, Not War

The Timex Weekender Slip Thru watch is an inexpensive piece that can give your wrist a unique flare.  With the tacky guady watches that flood the streets of Louisville, this simple watch can help showcase your personal style as well as not taking it too far.

Now that football season is in well into the second half of the season, you HAVE to support your favorite NFL team.  As everyone knows I am a huge 49ers fan, and now that we are back in championship form and i can wear my 9ers gear without holding my head down.

Mission Statement

2005 gave rise to the dawn of a new era in Louisville, Kentucky. Tired of being entranced by the endless drone of hyper-consumerism, a collective of people was formed to reject what was being spoon fed to us by popular culture. A crew of people who initially shared a love of sneakers evolved into a consortium of like-minded individuals passionate about using their talents to raise awareness of youth culture in Louisville.

Saving Our Style is a creative outlet for those who have more to offer the world than what has been previously accepted by the masses. Our goal is to nurture youth and street culture in a positive manner. ALL CREWS UNITED is our rallying cry….
