Women’s Fall Trends 2012 pt 2

Jenn is back with part 2 of the Women’s Fall trends installment….

CAMO-LEON

From cargo pants to army jackets, the military has long had an influence on fashion trends. The latest war time influence gracing the fashion scene is camo. Camo print is back, and for many this can be an incredibly tough trend to pull off, you can easily end up looking like G.I. Jane (if that’s your goal this trend is a no brainer). The good news is when outfitted appropriately camo can offer amazing versatility to your wardrobe.

Some ways to easily outfit camo, is to determine which direction you want to go with it. You can choose to make your camo feminine, edgy, or preppy to fit your mood and personality.

Go preppy with Gaps camo printed pant and a flannel shirt.
Go feminine with a camo
jacket and flirty skirt
Go Edgy with a studded camo shirt and black skinnies

SWEATSHIRT SWAG

Perhaps we can think Isabel Marant’s cool wedge sneaker for making Sportswear chic, but the sweatshirt is the IT top right now. Sweatshirt details are currently being seen on everything from sweaters to knit tees.

Fleece tops have been upgraded with a back to denim attitude with cool fabrications and silhouettes.  You can get in on the sportswear trend by simply a pairing cool sweatshirt with a skirt or heels.

The sweat pant is also making a comeback in a cool slimmer silhouette; pair these pants with heel and a cool graphic or leather piece, for a cool of the moment look.

All below styles are available at www.gap.com

Right now fashion is more fun and eclectic than I have seen in years! No matter what the trend is make sure that you capture your own personal style, and allow your individuality to shine!

2005 gave rise to the dawn of a new era in Louisville, Kentucky. Tired of being entranced by the endless drone of hyper-consumerism, a collective of people was formed to reject what was being spoon fed to us by popular culture. A crew of people who initially shared a love of sneakers evolved into a consortium of like-minded individuals passionate about using their talents to raise awareness of youth culture in Louisville.

Saving Our Style is a creative outlet for those who have more to offer the world than what has been previously accepted by the masses. Our goal is to nurture youth and street culture in a positive manner. ALL CREWS UNITED is our rallying cry….
