August Footwear Sales #’s
For the last few years back to school season has began later and has lasted longer… With August 2012 following the trend of solid sales and even seeing a high single digit increase in the average selling price to $56 per unit.
On to the numbers…
When dealing with units priced over $100 Nike and Jordan combined for 72% share of the market. Nike and Jordan also had 23 of the top 25 selling styles for August.
The top selling styles in August: Jordan 4(Fire Red), All white Air Force 1 low, Jordan Golden Moments Pack, Nike Free Run+3, Nike Free Flex Run, Comfort 2 Slide, Jordan Son of Mars and the Nike Air Monarch.
