Is it the shoes??? The third incarnation of the Air Jordan XI concord colorway was welcomed by a worldwide frenzy, with thousands of rabid customers on the hunt for a coveted pair. Even the last release of the shoe in 2000, didn’t compare to the craze witnessed on 12-23-2011 . Many of the I was able to cop a pair a few days after the release.
Jordan hasn’t played in the 11 since 1995… I wonder if it’s the allure of the (shoe)game, internet hype or maybe the shoe is just that hard to live without? Whichever, I’m not one to judge… But the actions irrational actions of a few have placed a blemish on the sneaker culture forever…
